This small cemetery contains mainly members of the Burton and Wright families.

Cemetery established in 1888 on about 2/3 acre of land donated by Wright family. There about 65 burials, all descendants or family of Mark and Mary Wright who came from Yorkshire, England. There is a discrepancy in the cemetery name. It is registered at the Assessor's office as "Greenwood" and known to sextons as "Greenwood". It was identified as "Evergreen" in USGS, Wiley Pope's "MN Cemetery Locations", pg 153, and by John and Elizabeth Erickson in 1971 in their transcriptions in MN Genealogist.
