After turning off of S.R. 43 by Gross Cemetery sign, you take a long gravel drive back to the opening of the cemetery and follow up the hill and around.

Stone reads:
First Burial in Gross Cemetery James Madison Gross: November 19, 1851 - November 27, 1851. Son of Josiah and Martha Ann Gross, Grandson of James and Catherine Gross. Thinking he owned this land, James offered this burial site his grandson.
