This Catholic cemetery is located in Richmond in Wayne Township (N half of the NE quadrant of the SW quadrant of Section 8, Township 13N, Range 1W) on the southeast corner of the intersection of Liberty Avenue and S Q Street. The cemetery is maintained by the Earlham Cemetery. Cemetery records are kept at the Earlham Cemetery office. The cemetery was established about 1848 on about 1,25 acres on S 5th Street by the Saint Andrew Catholic Church and was moved to its current location in about 1866.

 

Indiana Cemetery Locations, Volume 4, published by the Indiana Genealogical Society (April 2009), gives the primary cemetery name as Saint Andrew Cemetery.

The cemetery is listed in the Cemetery and Burial Grounds Registry of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and in the State Historical Architectural and Archaeological Research Database (SHAARD) with Cemetery Record Number CR-89-113 (Saint Andrew's Catholic).
