MEMORIAL STAND
Dedicated to the Memory of World War I and World War II Veterans
by Post No.58. Hurley

Note: According to the groundskeeper, whom I talked with today (11 Aug 2015), this Veterans memorial is the west on Highway 51 to east dividing line between St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery and the Hurley Cemetery. He said it is for ALL Veterans in all of the cemeteries. I have not checked with the VA to verify this. MLW

Dividing line between St. Mary's and Hurley Cemeteries in Hurley, WI (from middle of the Veterans Memorial to the huge tree in the distance (center). There used to be a road right down the center of the picture dividing the locations. St. Mary's is on the left and Hurley is on the right in the picture. Facing east. Highway 51 runs North and South behind where I am taking the photo. Note: Center to the paved road on extreme right of photo are Hurley Graves.
