Established in 1860, Mount Hope Cemetery is a historic Catholic burial ground at 81 Mount Hope Avenue in Lewiston, Maine. The cemetery is situated along the Androscoggin River, about a mile below the city.

It is widely known as the city's "Irish Catholic Cemetery" and is managed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland. The grounds feature an orderly layout of granite monuments, religious iconography, and mature trees.

Significant 19th-century improvements included a stone receiving tomb built in 1894 and new gravel drives. By 1902, professional landscaping and city water were introduced to enhance the grounds.
