Travel Indiana State Road 3-North to 1100-North, east to 150-East then north, cemetery is back of abandoned house on the west side of the road, on ground donated by Benalah and Sarah Ashenfelder, 1861. The cemetery is located in Union Township (SW quadrant of the NE quadrant of the SW quadrant of Section 14, Township 22N, Range 10E) about 1000 feet west of N County Road 150 E about 0.3 miles north of its intersection with E County road 1100 N.

Indiana Cemetery Locations, Volume 2, published by the Indiana Genealogical Society (01 April 2006), gives the primary cemetery name as Ashenfelder Cemetery with alternate names of Ashenfelter Cemetery and Eshenfelter Cemetery.

The cemetery is listed in the Cemetery and Burial Grounds Registry of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and in the State Historical Architectural and Archaeological Research Database (SHAARD) with Cemetery Record Number CR-18-59 (Ashenfelder).
