These stone walls mark either side of both Pitroff Avenue entrances

Our Lady of the Sorrows honors all those in the cemetery. Statue is made of zinc. Located in the circle near the back of the cemetery.

The oldest section of the cemetery backs to Notre Dame Cemetery to which it once belonged. Death records for those buried here prior to the 1934 opening of Mater Dolorosa, will list Notre Dame as burial place. Stones here are extremely worn and, unfortunately, many were damaged by vandals in 2008.

View of the cemetery looking west from the south entrance. The tall pines separate the cemetery from Notre Dame Cemetery on the south and west sides. It is bordered on the east by Pitroff Ave and the north by Hildreth Ave.
