The Oakes Cemetery is in the Battle Hill Township, Canton, McPherson County, Kansas. The cemetery is located at the S.E. corner of 28th Avenue and Pawnee Rd. From Canton, go north on Main St, five miles, turn east for one mile. Turn south on Pawnee Rd. for one mile.

The arch at Oakes Cemetery was installed by J. C. and Myrtle Oakes sometime before Oct. 1985.
