From the intersection of James Rd. & US-45 W, at Dyer, travel West on James Rd. for 0.2 mi.; turning East (right) onto TN-77 E/Yorkville St. for 0.6 mi.; turning South (right) onto N Main St., going 0.3 mi.; turning East (left) onto Parkview Rd., going 0.4 mi.; turning North (left) onto N Poplar St.; turning onto East (right) onto Boham Rd., continuing straight into the entrance to this large deeded cemetery, as notated on USGS topo maps.
Sometimes it was called Pleasant Grove Cemetery. It was named after Benjamin Franklin Bobbitt, who is credited with being one of Dyer's founders and is buried here (5479888). On May 20 1848, Pleasant Grove Church held its first service here where the cemetery is located.
