This Trinity Lutheran Cemetery is the original Lutheran cemetery one mile west of Carthage. It was basically the resting place of Norwegians, with a few Swedish in the southeast corner. This cemetery is kept neat, but several years have passed since any burials. It is usually referred to now as the Old Zion Lutheran Cemetery. There is a new Trinity Lutheran Cemetery on the northwest corner of Lake Carthage, a few miles away.

Entrance back to cemetery from road.
