This picture of the Preston Hill Gate after the big hole on the East side was filled in, new fence around the Cemetery and all new front.
Very nice improvements.
Preston Hill Cemetery is located from the intersection of U.S. Highway 64 and State Highway 50 at Camp Houston, go 4 miles east on U.S. Highway 64 to County Road 230, then north on County Road 230 for 2.25 miles to Jefferson Road, then east on Jefferson Road for .9 miles; cemetery opens on the south side of this dirt road.
If you will notice the big darker patch east of the gate, that was a big hole and was recently filled in with dirt, also looks like a pile of dirt, must be from a newly dug grave.
Inscription on bronze plaque says "LEST WE FORGET".
