Miss Bettie, as she was generally called, was born Oct 5th, 1873. She made a profession of faith in Christ in the fifteenth year of her age, and united with the Presbyterian church. She lived a sweet, gentle, christian life, and so endeared herself to her family and neighbors that her loss was deeply deplored.
