United Kingdom Prime Minister. He served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1809 until his assassination in office in 1812. He was in the Lobby of the House of Commons at the time. The man who shot him was a merchant who felt aggrieved by the British government. The assassin, named John Bellingham was executed on the 18th of May, 1812. He was buried in the family vault below.
