In 1910, Peter and Bridgie and their five children: Joseph, Harry and Harold (twins), Myrtle and Hazel were living in West Roseburg, Douglas County Oregon. Bridget died the same day the last child, Nicholas, was born.
The Ballfs were a very close and devout Catholic family. There is a street named after the family off of West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg.
