Mr. Brown was a native of Graves County. He was owner and operator of Bob Browns Gulf Station, worked for Marine Waves and Modine Manufacturing. He was a U.S. Army veteran, Kentucky Colonel, and Duke of Paducah, and was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and served as past president of the Eagles. Surviving is his wife of 57 years Patsy Ingram Brown. One sister, Charlotte Simmons of Melber, KY. Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shellie and Laura Jackson Brown, two brothers, Ardell Brown and Flavious Brown, Four sisters Rosie Nell Ballard, Maydean Elder, Mary Helen Jones and Betty Thweatt.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Brandt Lyon officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. till 12:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Keeling Family Funeral Home.
