Little Charles Davidson was the son of George Franklin Davidson and Candis Anna Wright Davidson who married on November 39, 1876 in Atascosa County. In the 1880 Census his parents lived in Atascosa County. Per family lore, they lived in the Loire community which was established in 1890.
