He retired as an auto mechanic instructor from the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill; was a Navy veteran of World War II; a member of Lawnton American Legion Post 998 and a past Dauphin County commander of the Legion; a 40 et 8 member and past chef de gare; and a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Lawnton.
Surviving are his wife, Lois A. Peck; three sons, Robert G. of Warminster, Gary L. of Dover and Larry E. Sr. of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Charles C. and John R., and a sister, Joanne Wynn, all of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
