POPULAR WOMAN IS DEATH VICTIM
Mrs. Dick Ferrenburg Died at Hospital Wednesday Morning
Mrs. Dick Ferrenburg, 30, popular and widely known young Fremont woman, died unexpectedly at Memorial hospital early Wednesday morning following a long illness of complications.
Mrs. Ferrenburg had been in ill health since undergoing a major operation a year ago, and had been removed to the hospital last Friday for specialized medical treatment. Her condition seemed weaker when Mr. Ferrenburg and other friends visited her Tuesday night but her sudden collapse and almost immediate death early Wednesday came as a shock.
A former operator at the Fremont branch of the Ohio Bell Telephone company, Mrs. Ferrenburg had been a resident of Fremont for nine years. She is survived by her husband, Dick Ferrenburg; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Broedell, of Detroit; a sister, Miss Marguerite Broedell and a brother Peter Broedell of Detroit.
She was born in Detroit, January 2, 1904, and was married to Mr. Ferrenburg in Toledo May 11, 1926, coming directly afterwards to Fremont to make her home. A young woman of pleasing personality, she became immediately popular with a large circle of friends here.
The body was removed to the Eagon mortuary and will be returned to the Ferrenburg home at 208 Birchard avenue Wednesday evening. Funeral arrangements will not be made until the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Broedell from Detroit. They were expected Wednesday afternoon.
