Marjorie Louise Corklin Barber, 72, of Cambridge Springs died at Hamot Medical Center,Erie, on Monday, June 2, 1997.

She was born Oct. 21, 1924, in Union City to Dewey Kenneth and Beatrice Ardella Holland Corklin.

She was first married to John E. Long and later to Melvin L. Barber; both preceded her in death.

Mrs. Barber retired in 1986 from Erie County Plastics,Corry, where she had been a machinist.

She was a member of Northwestern Pennsylvania Schutzhund lub and enjoyed gardening and pet animals.

Surviving are: two sons, John E. Long of Boaz, Ala., and Daniel L. Barber of McKean; a brother, John Corklin of TItusville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a special caregiver, her niece Shirley Wilcox.

Mrs. Barber was preceded in death by a sister,Bernice Walton, and a brother, Dewey G. Corklin. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home, 62 S. Main St., Union City. There will be no funeral.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery,Union City.
