Mrs. Audria Sims Averitte, 82, of 3032 Wedgewood Drive, Fayetteville, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in her home.

Mrs. Averitte was a strong, Christian woman who loved her family, friends, flowers and her garden.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Mount Carmel Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Chris Graves officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.

The family received friends from 7 to 9 Monday night at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

Mrs. Averitte is survived by two daughters, Judy Johnson and her husband, Robert, of Snellville, Ga., and Donna Averitte of Fayetteville; two sons, Kenneth Averitte and his wife, Abby, of Fayetteville, and Mitch Averitte and his wife, Gretchen, of Newport; a brother; two sisters; five grandchildren, Scott Johnson, Brian Johnson, Jason Johnson, Taylor Averitte and Emelyn Averitte; and two great-grandchildren, Mary Reese Johnson and Brooke Johnson.
