Dollard was the son of Auguste and Marcelline Berger Boudreau (buried in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, MA). He was the cousin of the famous Louis Cyr, the "strongest man". He emigrated to the United States in 1892 and married Emma Forget in 1896. They lived in Massachusetts at the turn of the century. Together, they had 15 children; Laura Nadeau(1896-1971),Joseph Rosario(1897-1987),Louis(1899-1990),Dominus(1900-1902),Yvonne Sylvester Clark(1902-1967),Stanley Anastas(1903-1975),Jack Moise(1904-1971),Rose Alma Rainville(1906-1986),Irene Mossey(1907-1995),Romeo(1909-1986),Cecile(1911-1915),Bernadette Green(1912-1986),Marguerite Burnett(1914-2010),Valerian(1916-1999) and Jeanette(1918-1995)Leonard McDermott. Dollard worked in the cotton mills as a weaver, and later loom repairman.
