G, July 8, 1865; detached as acting regimental quartermaster, August 9, 1865; mustered out with company, August 21, 1865, at Washington, D. C ; commissioned second lieutenant, August 12, 1864, with rank from August 11, 1864, vice A. Marquesse, promoted; first lieutenant, July 6, 1865, with rank from June 23, 1865, vice G. Sackett, not mustered.

Word has been received in this city of the death of Albert P Foster, who passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs FL Bennett of Oswego on Tuesday after a brief illness. Mr Forster was formerly a resident of Arkport where he made many friends, who will be saddened by his death. Besides his many friends, he leaves to mourn his loss, two daughter, Mrs FL Bennett and Miss Lillian Foster, one son Alonzo A Foster, all of Oswego
