Fred M. Wellner, 47, whose home is at 911 S. 22nd street, died Friday afternoon after a lingering illness.
For 23 years Mr. Wellner was in the employ of the Aluminum Goods Mfg. company.
He was born at Whitelaw on Jan. 29, 1898, and was married to Anna M. Pieschel on Sept. 22, 1925.
She survives with his mother, Mrs. Theresa Wellner, one daughter, Eunice, a son Paul, two sisters, Mrs. Jerome Steinbrecher and Mrs. Al Meyer, both of this city; two brothers, Sylvester, Manitowoc; and Reinhardt, Philadelphia, Pa.
The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer funeral home. At 8:30 a.m. on Monday short rites will take place at the funeral parlors, and at 9 o'clock there will be a funeral mass at St. Boniface, with the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary.
Members of the Holy Name society will meet at 7 o'clock Sunday evening to pray for their deceased member.
