Father of State Senator Is Dead
Services for Otis O. Burnett, 68, one of the oldest residents of Edgewood, to be held in Tolin & Herr Funeral Home, have been delayed pending word from a grandson in service. He died last night in St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Burnett was the father of Harold O. Burnett, joint state senator from Johnson and Marion Counties. With another son, Paul S. Burnett, he was a partner in Burnett & Son Hardware
Store 5565 Madison. The two also owned a Tydol Oil Company filling station at the same address.
A resident of Indianapolis area since boyhood, Mr. Burnett was born in Brazil. A resident of 1425 Edgewood, he was past master of Southport Masonic Lodge.
Survivors besides the two sons, are the widow, Mrs. Mary Burnett, a third son, Herbert J. Burnett, a daughter, Miss Mildred E. Burnett, two sisters, Mrs. Homer L. Wilson and Mrs. Samuel Hendershott and four grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Otis O. Burnett, 68 years old of 1425 Edgewood Avenue, hardware dealer, died
Tuesday night in St. Francis Hospital, will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in Tolin & Herr Funeral home.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery
