James A. "Jim" Youngblood was one of the three sons of John William and Margaret Ann "Peggy" Sims Youngblood.

The book "Pariss Sims Family and Related Families 1765 - 1965," by Almon J. Sims, states that, " Jim, Joe, and Matt (Twins) Youngblood operated one of the largest drygoods store in Clifton, Tn for many years."
