James Paul DeNapoli, Sr., 62, of Letart, went home to be with the Lord with family and friends at his side on November 18, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was born August 15, 1951, in Fort Knox, KY., a son to the late John DeNapoli and Luella Fetzer DeNapoli. He was a retired carpenter.


Jim loved the outdoors and served as Commandant for the Marine Corps League in Mason County. He also attended the Soul Harvest Church in Mason.


He is preceded in death by his parents.


He is survived by his loving wife, Chrystal Baker DeNapoli of Letart and sons, James P. DeNapoli, Jr. of Quantico, Va. and Eugene DeNapoli of Point Pleasant, and step-children Anthony Will, Jesse Will, and Mystic Will, all of Letart. Also surviving are brothers, Ron DeNapoli, Steve DeNapoli and sister, Laurie Pearsall, all of Tom's River, N.J., as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.


At Jim's request there will be no visitation. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Jim's care has been entrusted to Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV.
