Private, Continental Army, Capt. Caleb Robinson's Company of Col. Nathan Hale's 2nd New Hampshire Battalion. Enlisted for three years in 1777. Participated in the Battle of Saratoga and wounded at the Battle of Bemis Heights. Separated after seven months of service due to a lost finger and hand battle wounds. Enlisted for six months in 1776, Capt. William Harfer's/Hanfer's Company of Col Wayman's New Hampshire Line Regiment, in service near Champlain.
Via Revolutionary War Widow's Pension Documents, Patriot Noah Marsh's wife was Hannah Roberts, who lived to be 89 years of age. She was born 8 Sep 1754 in Brentwood ME, married her only husband Noah Marsh on 14 May 1778 in Brentwood ME, and died 9 July 1844; her last known and documented location while living in 1843 was Cornville ME, and her memorial location is unknown. Noah and Hannah had 12 children, with two dying in infancy.
