Frankie was born in Leakey, Texas, on July 28, 1932 to John Frank Davis and Rachel Angeline Davis.
Frankie is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Stan Davis; her son, Michael Forrey and her grandson, Calvin Forrey.
Frankie is survived by her children, Maurice Forrey (Stella), Warren Forrey, John Forrey and Ellen Majure; her grandchildren, Clayton (Jaime), Candice, Casey (Laura), Ryan, Colin, Rachel and Jillian and her great-grandchildren, Trinity, Rodney, Tula, Christopher, Ashley, Donald and Emily.
Frankie spent her younger years living in small towns in Texas with her family. At age 12, they moved to Bisbee.
Frankie graduated from Bisbee High School in 1949 and after getting married, settled in Tucson, where she and her then husband, Dave, raised their five children.
She moved back to her beloved Bisbee in 1994, where she remained until her death. Frankie was a passionate, independent and inquisitive person who lived her life to the fullest. She adored her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, her many pets and exploring nature.
Frankie was a soft hearted animal lover who rescued wild baby animals and occasionally was known to hand-feed skunks and coatimundis.
She loved the Chiricahua Mountains, spending every fall for many years in Sunny flats as the Campground host.
Frankie was also an avid, lifelong bridge player and an accomplished cook and baker.
The Funeral Service/Celebration of Life for Frankie will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Bisbee, Arizona on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. A Reception will take place at St. Johns immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Tucson Wildlife Center.
