Pauline was a cashier and secretary to the President of the Lamer Hotel Company. She was also the Eisenhower Pilgrimage Committee Chairman.

She had a niece, Wanda Malone of St. Peters, Missouri. Pauline also had a nephew, Winfield Jay Cowger of Pacatello, Idaho.
Pauline never married and had no children. She died on September 14, 1990 at the Salina Nursing Center. Her burial was at the Osborne Cemetery, Osborne, Kansas.
