Jorge Martinez, 50 of San Jose passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. He was born in San Jose, CA and has lived there most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Carmen Martinez. His four Daughters, Maria Quiroz 32 and husband, Carlos Quiroz Jr. and their two children, Andrew and Carly Quiroz, daughter, Maricella Martinez, and her four children, Ezekiel, Rene, Kiersten Reynolds and Kaylinah Vallejos, daughter, Melissa Martinez and her daughter Taylor Downing, daughter, Michelle Garcia and husband Martin Garcia and their three children, Jordan, Jayden, and Ariyanah Garcia. His grandchildren ages range from 11 years old to four months old.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Austin Henry, dads father, Juan Andres Martinez Sr., and dads brother, Armando Martinez.
Jorge is also survived by his siblings, Diana Zuniga, Grace Bradley , Juan Martinez Jr., Carlos Martinez, Christina Vitela, Marcos Martinez, and Henry Martinez and dads mother, Guadalupe De La Cerda Martinez.
His career was construction for the last 35 years and owning his own business for a few years. Dad loved to fish, oil paint, mechanic work, and loved to be with his family, especially his grandkids. Dad had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and make jokes. Dad loved to sing in church and play the bass guitar. Dad loved giving Bible studies to people and telling them about the goodness of Jesus Christ. Dad loved to BBQ for family and friends. Dad also loved spending time with his wife in San Francisco and eating clam chowder in a bread bowl. Dad also loved to read, watch movies, and the history channel. Dad loved to learn new things.
Dad will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was very well loved and respected.
Funeral services will be held in San Jose with burial at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
