Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm Chester and Mary McQueen McIver and the widow of James F. Perley Sr. Mrs. Perley was a founding member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mary Dill Branch and Carolyn Wyatt and her husband, Charles N. Wyatt Jr., both of Greenville; Dianne Perley Burns of Marietta, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Pat E. Perley, of Newark, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, Gwyn Hardin, Cathy Wyatt, Maggie Boliek, Louise Fletcher, Knox Burns, Troy Burns, Sheri Cimino, Sandy Perley, Serena Minasnikov, James C. Perley; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers. She was predeceased by a son, Judge James Franklin Perley Jr.; and grandson, John Gregory Branch.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with visitation prior to the service from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Foothills Presbyterian Home, 205 Bud Nalley Road, Easley, SC 29642, or St. Francis Hospice, 414A Pettigru Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
