OBIT: DEPORT TIMES 20 Dec 1918, Friday, from microfilm in the Clarksville Library: Two children, a boy and a girl, of George Plott of Halesboro, died of influenza last Thursday and were buried at Deport Friday afternoon. Rev. B. F. Allen conducted the funeral. The girl, Audrey, was eight years old and the boy, Ollie, five. Their mother died with the same disease the first of the week. This leaves four of a family of seven. Truly, they have the deepest sympathy of friends in this sad hour.
