Jerry Allen McClendon - ET1 US NAVY - Persian Gulf - March 14, 1957 - Sep 22, 1992 - Jerry was murdered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. His death was featured in an A&E Cold Case episode: Case #1: The Baiting Game - In 1992, a body is found in the foothills of Henry County, Virginia. The corpse is sailor Jerry McClendon. An autopsy concludes McClendon was drugged and suffocated. Police first suspect the people close to McClendon, his roommates David DeShazo and Roxanna Latham. Investigators soon discover a motive: ATM photos of the roommates withdrawing money from McClendon's account. For 12 hours, detectives grill Roxanna Latham. She stays true to her story and her man by denying everything. With little physical evidence, police can make no charges and the case goes cold. Six years pass and the love between David and Roxanna sours. The roommates have split up and suddenly Roxanna Latham has a new story to tell. This one details a secret recipe for murder.
