He had beenemployed by the North American Cement Corporation for over 20 years, was a member of the Western Enterprise Fire Company and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
He is survived by wife, Autumn Dyche Shambaugh, daughter, Mrs. Clifford Buckholder, Baltimore; sons, James L. and Edwin E., both of Hagerstown; brothers, William and Daniel, Orleans Crossroads, WV, Elmer, Paw Paw, WV; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services were held at the A.K. Coffman Funeral Home; burial was made in Rose Hill Cemetery.
