Esther was born on March 12, 1910, the daughter of Dagmar and Rudolph Hoge. She received the gift of new life through Holy Baptism at St. Trinity Lutheran Church, where she also affirmed that covenant through the Rite of Confirmation.
Esther and her husband, Loren J. "Red" LaMore, were blessed with the gift of four children: Patricia (Robert) Otto, Robert (Jenny) LaMore, Pamela (George) Hamamoto, and Penny (William) Broderick. They were also blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Together, they proudly owned LaMore Auto Body, where Esther was employed as secretary/treasurer from 1938 to 1995.
Esther was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church and for more than forty years belonged to Glendale Lutheran Church. She was a faithful worshipper and supported the church's ministry in many ways.
Besides her children, she is survived by two sisters, Florence Haarhaus and Dorothy Chaloupecky, and many friends. Her beloved husband died in 1982.
