She entered Danvers Carmel on September 24, 1961, received the Carmelite habit on May 19, 1962 with the beautiful name of Sister Anne of the Mother of God, and made her vows the following year on August 15, 1963. Mother Anne was elected Prioress of Danvers Carmel in 2001 and served with generosity and love until her death.
