Sky Lynne Higgs Hellinga

Our beautiful, amazing wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Sky Higgs Hellinga passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007, in Mesa, Arizona. Sky was born August 13, 1975, to Lance and Randie Putman Higgs in Heber City, Utah.
She married Paul Hellinga on April 25, 2007, in Koh Samed, Thailand. She graduated from Wasatch High School, graduated from Barbizon Modeling School, and attended Dixie College. She worked at Primary Children's Medical Center in the pharmacy. She also worked and volunteered in many positions such as the AIDS Foundation and helping kids at the University of Utah Hospital. She spent six weeks in Thailand, learning pharmacy and helping the sick and needy. Sky graduated with honors from the University of Utah with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
A beautiful person inside and out, Sky was always so generous and giving. She loved all animals, especially cats. Her husband, Paul, was ever-understanding and supportive and he was very special to her. She loved him very much. Sky looked up to, admired and loved her dad immensely (they were two of a kind). She was her mom's very best friend and will forever be. Sky was very proud of her brother, Shane, for being such a wonderful husband and daddy, and she loved him so much. She loved Jeni just like a sister and loved and adored her little Paysen. Sky had a special place in her heart for all her extended family members and her many, many friends.
Survived by her loving husband, Paul, of Mesa; parents, Lance and Randie, of Heber City; her brother, Shane (Jenifer) Higgs, of Kamas; her niece, Paysen, of Kamas; grandparents, Don and Judy Putman, of Park City; Al and Lois Higgs, of Heber; great-grandmother, Inez Wilson, of Heber; parents-in-law, Paul and Valerie Hellinga, Mesa, AZ; sisters-in-law, Janelle and Hillary Hellinga, Mesa, AZ; R.C. Hellinga, of Mesa; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Sky is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Aunt Sharon Higgs Johnson; uncle, Steven Higgs; and cousin, Sean Higgs.
We love you Sky and you will be forever in our hearts and minds.
