Bob was born in McAlester, OK.
He graduated with a Nursing Degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1974. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 29 ½ years and retired as Lt. Commander.
His wife Stephanie will love him from now on. He will be missed greatly by his sister Rhonda Ground and husband Mark, of Paris, TX, and "The Kids"; Robin Gibson and husband Ben of Choctaw, OK, Kristen Ferguson and husband Jeffery of Barling, AR, Angela Moore of Seminole, OK, Brian Moore of Seminole, OK, Patrick Sanford and his wife Rachel of Fayetteville, AR. He was "Grampy" to Jordan, Dawson, Anna, River, Noah, Aaron, McKenzie, Kaylee, Hannah, and Skyler.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 25, 2014, in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be: Brian Moore, Ben Gibson, Jeffery Ferguson, K.C. Yott, Jordan Ferguson, and Dawson Andrews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Moore, Ben Moore, and Stephen Copeland.
