Along with her husband, Mel, owned Etna Home & Auto behind where the Isaly's was located in Etna, sort of a hardware & auto parts store in the late 30's early 40's. They owned and operated Etna Home & Auto service station next to their home in the K-Mart plaza on Route 8 where the Med Express stands today and the New Crest Restaurant at the corner of Mount Royal Blvd. and Route 8, the upstairs serving as their new home. Both locations were well known to the public and had many long time customers, the Hampton Police Department especially enjoying the restaurant.
