O. P. Wright Dies In Terre Haute
Oliver P. Wright, 80, well known resident of Putnamville and Manhattan Community, died Sunday at the home of his daughter in Terre Haute.
He was born in Putnam County July 23, 1880, the son of Tarvin and Lina Taber Wright. He was married to Leona Williams and she preceded him in death in 1952. He was a member of Big Walnut Baptist church near Reelsville.
Survivors are: four daughters, Mrs. Jane Danberry, Putnamville; Mrs. Juanita Frederick, Terre Haute; Mrs. Esther Jones, Bloomington and Mrs. Clari Woodall, Brownsburg; one sister, Flonnie Clevenger, Cloverdale; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. from the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Interment will be in Manhattan cemetery.
