Funeral services for Mrs. Lysle Wheeler, 66, 107 W. Elm Street, were held this morning at Nelson Boylan Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Ruleman officiating and burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Wheeler died Thursday, February 19, at Murphy Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She lived in the Clarinda and Red Oak Commuters most of her life except for a few years in Salt Lake City during World War 2.
Dorothy Marie Keener was born April 9, 1909 in Clarinda and was married in 1956 to Lysle Wheeler, who survives Also survive are a step son, James Wheeler of Dene; step daughter, Mrs. JoAnn Schmidt, Brawley, California; 6 grandchildren.
Mrs. Wheeler was a member of First Methodist Church.
