Mr. Estey was the son of Alva and Marion (Pratt) Estey.
He graduated from Springfield High School.
He served as a Pvt. US Army World War II from his enlistment Aug. 13, 1942 to release October 31, 1945.
For over 38 years he was employed at the B. K. Barlow Hardware Store which he later owned and operated.
He was a member of Springfield Loyal Order Lodge 679 and the Robert L. Johnson VFW Post 771.
Survivors included his wife, Annabelle (Martin) Estey; two daghters, Charlene Keenan and Eileen Cichon; a son, Lance Cpl. Donald Estey; a brother William and a sister, Doris Zaleski.
