Lee E. Broeker, 90, Huntingburg, died Sept. 24, 2015, at his home.
He was born at Holland Dec. 4, 1924, to William and Selma (Schoppenhorst) Broeker. He married Emadean L. Schmeltekope on Nov. 15, 1943. She died Dec. 31, 2007.
Surviving are a daughter, Starr Lee Kieffner; a son, Raven Lee Broeker; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lucinda Broeker; and two brothers, Ralph and Charles Broeker.
Mr. Broeker retired as a shop foreman at Jasper Corporation. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and participated in battles at Guam, the Marianas Islands and Iwo Jima.
