MILITARY SERVICE: Amos Alexander served as a Colonel during the

Revolution in the Continental service in John Patterson's Brigade of

Wagons under the direction of Col. Francis Wade, Esq.; deputy Quarter-

master General, Delaware, from November 29, 1779, to at least February 1780.

Justice of Peace, Elkton, MD, furnished wagon to Col. Patterson. He was seriously

wounded during this service.
