Mr. Saia was a US Marine Corps veteran of WWII. He was the general manager for Chatham Sportswear in New York City before retiring. After retirement he worked as the business administrator at St. Mary's Church and School for 14 years. He was a former member of the First Parish Council at St. Mary's Church and the first male president of the PTA at St. Mary's School. He was an avid sports enthusiast, avid physical fitness enthusiast and an accomplished self-taught musician.
Beloved husband the late Marie Saia (nee Stampone) for 42 years and the late Elizabeth "Betty" Juliano-Saia (nee Schaeffer) for 7 years.
Devoted father of Thomas Saia (Maureen), Robert Saia (Diana) and Joseph Saia (Debbie). Dear brother of the late Carmen Saia. Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
