Mr Traxler was a lifelong resident of Hinds County. He was a Barber Instructor at Traxler School of Hair, where he was director. Mr. Traxler was an avid cattleman and was past president and member of Hinds County Cattlemen Association. He loved people, was a master griller, often involved in fundraisers for others and loved to help at his church, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Hazlehurst Branch. He was also an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his parents Vic & Aileen Traxler of Utica; brothers Kevin (Lynn) Traxler of Brandon and Dwight Traxler of Utica; the joy of his life nephew Thomas Traxler; two nieces Cortney (Matt) Townsend, Victoria Traxler and a host of friends.
