Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" Ervin Blackburn, 58, of Nitro, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014, at home.
Ronnie was born to Beatrice Errington and Ervin Blackburn of Bogalusa, La. He is the husband of Robin Bell Blackburn and the daddy of Eric Blackburn, Jon, Daniel and Derek McCallister, Stacy Thompson, Haley Blackburn and Emily Carreno. He was the proud papaw of Ethan, Julian, Jada and Elleehannah McCallister.
Ronnie was a former employee of Starcom International.
A tribute to the life of Ronnie will be 1 p.m. Monday, September 15, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Donny Hively officiating. Burial will follow in Walker Adkins Cemetery.
