Dorothy M. Snow, 94, of Montrose, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at the Endless Mountains Health Systems.
She was born in Pike Twp., Bradford County, to the late Ellsworth C. and Mae (Ottis) Linaberry. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Heidi Snow; son-in-law, Bob Coy; sister-in-law, Sonny Linaberry; five grandchildren, Larry (Nancy) Coy; Russell (Diana) Snow; Allen (Amy) Coy; Sharon (Robert) Lynch; Gary (Kelli) Snow; 11 great grandchildren; Renee (Patrick) Daly; Michael Snow; Ryan Coy; Kyle Snow and his fiancé Michaelline Jubinski, Raelene Coy; Ashley Coy; Christopher Snow; Amber Coy; Corey Snow; Matthew Snow; Meagan Snow; three great-great grandchildren; Melina Daly; Chandler Ryese Snow; Rylinn Paityn Snow; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Ellsworth C. Snow; daughter, Marian Coy; two sons, Stanley and David Snow; and brother, Donald Linaberry. Dorothy worked at the Montrose Inn for several years. She was a member of Rebecca Lodge, and the Montrose United Methodist Church. Dorothy was a loving person. She was always there to help anyone in need, and always had a smile on her face. She will be dearly missed by everyone. A Funeral Service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Rev. Jane M. Pykus, of the Montrose United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead. Friends called on the family an hour prior to the service.
