Termed Suicide
I. J. Wrather, 73, of 520 Hughes street, was found dead in an outhouse behind his home at 6 a.m. today. Coroner C. J. Bazzell said he committed suicide by hanging himself.
Mr. Wrather had been in ill health for several years, the coroner stated. His body was found by Lois Higgins, 620 Hughes street. A piece of wire was looped around his neck and tied to a rafter above.
The body was taken to Johnson funeral home, Boaz, pending funeral arrangements.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Martha Henzel and Mrs. Margaret Sparks, both of San Bernardino. Calif., Mrs. Dorothy Butler, St. Louis, and Mrs. Ava Scaggs of Graves county; and two sons, Buron Wrather, St. Louis, and Marcus Wrather, Graves county, .
