She married Benjamin Harrison Cunningham about 1927 in Dayton, Ohio; they were blessed with two sons, Benjamin Harold (1928-2001) and Stephen D. Cunningham (1945-1945).
After Ben's death she and her mother shared a home until her mom died in 1968. She later met Alfred Cuneo, a retired dentist. They were married on August 25, 1979 in Los Vegas, Nevada and enjoyed each others company, traveling extensively.
Evelyn is buried by her first husband, Ben Cunningham.
